Young moved from North Carolina to Los Angeles, landing roles in the roles of Cathy Metsker and Rachel in JJ Abrams Mission Impossible: 3 with Tom Cruise and Keri Russel. In the year 2018 she co-starred with Oprah Winfrey Reese Witherspoon Mindy Kaling, and Reese witherspoon, she was a co-star in the live action Disney adaption of A Wrinkle in Time.
