Nancy O'Dell's professional career started in Myrtle Beach South Carolina as an anchor and news reporter at WPDE-TV. Later she was a morning-news anchor as well as crime reporter for WCBD TV. In Charleston O'Dell's stories about the relaxed approach police take towards DUI cases resulted in an State Law Enforcement Division investigation that resulted in state authorities re-issuing an even more strict directive on DUI cases. Ms. O'Dell received the Best Report of the Media Award South Carolina by the Associated Press. Following her work in Charleston O'Dell was a co-anchor and investigative reporter for NBC's Miami station WTVJ-TV prior to joining Access Hollywood as a weekend co-anchor and weekday correspondent.
