Arike Ogunbowale

Arike Ogunbowale (born on April 2, 1985) is an American professional basket ball player. She is a player for the Dallas Wings and the Women's National Basketball Association. She played in the NCAA basketball tournament with the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. The Wings drafted her with five selections in this year's WNBA. Arike Ogunbowale's parents Yolanda Ogunbowale & Gregory Ogunbowale were born March 2nd 1997 in Milwaukee Wisconsin. Mario Ogunbowale (26 years) and Dare Ogunbowale (19 years) are her two older brothers. The youngest sibling, she was the one who received the greatest attention from her parents. Gregory was the Nigerian Army officer for a long time. Ogunbowale comes from an active lineage of family members. Her brother Dare played football and Yolanda Ogunbowale, her mother used to play softball. Aunty played the sport of volleyball in UAPB. Her cousin Endia plays volleyball too in Tennessee State. Ogunbowale's outstanding skills led to her school capturing stunning victories multiple times. She finished her high school career with 73 career starts and lists her career's totals as 1 477 and 739 rebounds. Ogunbowale was crowned gold at the 2013 FIBA Americas U16 Championships and 2014 FIBA U17 World Championships as well as the 2013 FIBA 3x3 U18 Championships. She was named to the 7th July roster of 2014 and was selected for the 2014 USA Youth Olympic Women's Basketball Team. Ogunbowale is also selected on the ACC All-Freshman Team after her first season as a collegiate player. Ogunbowale was also congratulated by Kobe Bryant. Kobe Bryant after she hit various big shots in the NCCA Tournament. Ogunbowale's basketball career has gotten starting off well and she is expected to continue in that direction.
