Amy Lou Adams, full name Amy Lou Adams (born 20 August 1974 in Aviano Italy), American actress. Her fame is for portraying naive characters that are adorable and enjoyable. Adams began her career as a year old living in Castle Rock Colorado. At the beginning of 1990, she started professional dancing and acting with Colorado's Dinner Theatre and the Country Dinner Playhouse in Colorado. In the following year she was in Minnesota in a small local theater, she was selected to play a role in the mock documentary about beauty pageants called Drop Dead Gorgeous. The actress moved into Los Angeles after making her debut as the snarky but good-natured contestant. Her husband Tony Curtis was her partner from June 1950 to September 1992. She had two children, Kelly Curtis as well as Jamie Lee Curtis. Leigh's career in film began in the late 1940s after she was signed by MGM. Her name was discovered by Norma Shearer. In the decade that followed her appearances in many famous films, including Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho (1960), and Living It Up by Martin and Lewis (a 1954 film).
